This new issue presents 10 articles from national and foreign authors, which provide a wide repertoire of practical applications, exploratory studies, analysis, and literature reviews on current scientific and technological topics. Those topics are related to the energy and food sectors, as well as ICT and higher education, gender violence, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic sector. The articles we offer in this issue are the result of innovative and original academic research, which will undoubtedly encourage the work of future researchers.
