Percepción de los Roles de Pareja en lo Laboral y Doméstico como Resultado de las Diferencias de Género

Abstract

Couple roles in the workplace and at home become the main factors that derive from gender difference and that currently generate worldwide interest due to the discriminatory phenomenon and the violence that occurs mainly against women. The purpose of this study is to carry out a literature review on these topics and present results of a descriptive research on characteristic features of the relationship between couples, such as roles they perform, most recurrent activities, qualities and defects, and behaviors in the workplace. Based on this analysis, recommendations are established with the intention to reduce levels of gender difference while generating alternatives for future research.
